जय Vishnu जगदीश्वर, नमो नमो प्रभु सार।
भक्तन के संकट हरो, देहु मोक्ष अपार॥
Victory to Lord Vishnu, the supreme master of the universe.
Remove the troubles of devotees and grant boundless liberation.
Chaupais 1–10:
जय जय Vishnu दयानिधि। भव सागर उतरण करो विधि॥
ब्रह्मा विष्णु शिव ध्यान लगावे। नारद पुरन्दर सुर मुनि गावे॥
जप तप व्रत पूजन करते। दास जनों के दुःख हरते॥
शरण परे जो तेरे पावे। सदा विजय मंगल वर पावे॥
अघ तजि भजन करे जो कोई। ता पर दया Vishnu होई॥
ध्यान धरे नित उठ प्रतिदिन। होत प्रसन्न भक्त के अधीन॥
पाप ताप संताप मिटाओ। जन के हिय में प्रेम बढ़ाओ॥
चालीसा पाठ करे जो कोई। ताकी सकल मनोकामना होई॥
सुत सम्पत्ति सुख दो तुम स्वामी। भक्त की रक्षा करो अन्तर्यामी॥
नाम तुम्हारो जपत हैं सारे। आओ Vishnu मोहि उबारे॥
Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva meditate on you; Narada, Indra, gods and sages sing your glory.
Those who perform japa, tapas, vrata and puja — you remove the sorrows of devotees.
Those who take your refuge receive victory, auspiciousness and blessings.
Whoever abandons sin and worships you — on them Vishnu showers grace.
Who meditates daily at dawn — you become pleased and submit to your devotee.
Remove sins, troubles and afflictions; increase love in the devotee's heart.
Whoever recites this chalisa — all their desires shall be fulfilled.
Give children, wealth and happiness; protect the devotee, O inner knower.
All chant your name — come, Vishnu, deliver me!

यह चालीसा Vishnu की, जो नर पढ़े सुनाय।
सकल मनोरथ पूरियें, मिटें दुःख और बलाय॥
Whoever recites or hears this Vishnu Chalisa —
All desires are fulfilled; sorrows and calamities are removed.
