Victory to Ganapati, abode of virtues. Remover of obstacles, son of Girija (Parvati).

जय जय जय गणपति गणराजू। मंगल भरण करण शुभ काजू॥
जय गजबदन सदन सुखदाता। विश्व विनायक बुद्धि विधाता॥
वक्र तुण्ड शुची शुण्ड सुहाना। तिलक त्रिपुण्ड भाल मन भाना॥
राजत मणि मुक्तन उर माला। स्वर्ण मुकुट शिर नयन विशाला॥
Victory to the Lord of Ganas! Bearer of auspiciousness, doer of good deeds.
Hail to the elephant-faced bestower of happiness, universal Vinayaka, giver of intellect.
Curved trunk, pure and beautiful. Tripunda tilak on the forehead, pleasing to the mind.
Shining gem-and-pearl garland on the chest. Golden crown, large eyes.
Chaupais 5–10:
पुष्ट विहारी विपति-भंजना। मंगल करण विघ्न विनाशन॥
सुमिरत संकट टारत नाहीं। सुमिरत मंगल मोद उछाहीं॥
सनकादिक ब्रह्मादिक मुनिवर। नारद शारद सहित अहीवर॥
जम कुबेर दिक्पाल जहां ते। पूजित गणपत मुनि जन जहां ते॥
और मातु पितु मेरे प्रभु स्वामी। कृपा करो जन जाको नामी॥
मुनि पुत्र कहि भक्त पुकारे। कर नहिं आये सुनो हमारे॥
Destroyer of misfortunes, bestower of auspiciousness, vanquisher of obstacles.
On remembrance, troubles vanish; on remembrance, joy arises.
Sages Sanaka, Brahma and others, Narada, Saraswati, king of serpents —
Yama, Kubera, guardians of directions — all worship Ganapati.
You are my mother, father, master and lord — be gracious to this servant.
Devotees call out as children to a sage — hear our prayers.
