Definition
The fifteenth nakshatra, spanning 6°40'–20° Tula. Ruled by Rahu and presided over by Vayu, the wind god. Symbolized by a young sprout swaying in wind or a sword. Swati represents independence, flexibility, freedom of movement, and the capacity to bend without breaking.
