The eleventh nakshatra, spanning 13°20'–26°40' Simha. Ruled by Venus (Shukra) and presided over by Bhaga, god of marital bliss. Symbolized by a hammock or the front legs of a bed. Purva Phalguni represents pleasure, creativity, rest, and marital happiness.
